About Our Facilities:
All of our classes are taught at our home-based training facility in Lemont, Illinois. We have a climate controlled indoor training room as well as a safely fenced half-acre outdoor training area for practicing off lead training and allowing socialization.

About Peggy:
I am a dog owner, trainer, and specialist in problem behavior. I am self-educated, and have been working professionally with dogs since 1975. I have specialized in problem behavior since 1979. I have been behavioral consultant to the American Dog Owners' Association; a guest speaker to the Northern Illinois Veterinary Medical Association, the University of Illinois Police Training Institute, at the University of Chicago, and at many area humane societies; I have done in service training for the staff of the Anti Cruelty Society in Chicago. I have been a writer for Dog World Magazine since the mid 1980's, as a monthly columnist, online editor, and feature writer. I retired from the magazine in December, 2002 to devote more time to training, writing a book, and spending time with my family and pets! I was the recipient of the ASPCA's Pet Overpopulation Answers Award through the Dog Writers' Association of America in 2000; have been featured on many local radio and television programs; and have been a frequent guest on Animal Planet Radio.

About Monica:
My name is Monica Moran-Pachl. I am Peggy's daughter and a fourth year student at the University of Chicago. I have grown up surrounded by animals and animal training, and have worked under my mother's tutelage as an assistant trainer for many years. I have taught dog training classes, consulted on problem behavior, and have provided in-home pet care and training. Along with my mom I am cofounder of an animal education program through which I frequently visit public schools to teach children about animal behavior and learning theory. I presently offer weekday in-home "day-training" visits for stay-at-home dogs in the Hyde Park area of Chicago, as a fun and educational alternative to standard dog walking.
